Introduction
PDF reports enable you to download a snapshot of your dashboard data as a PDF document. This feature allows for sharing performance insights with stakeholders who do not have access to your WordPress site.
Exporting reports
You can export your Site Kit dashboard data as a PDF directly from your browser.
To export a report:
- Navigate to the Site Kit dashboard.
- Click the Export PDF icon located in the dashboard header navigation bar.
- In the side panel, select the topics and widgets you wish to include in your report.
- Click Download report.
- A progress bar appears at the bottom of the dashboard. Keep the browser tab open while the report is generated.
- The PDF downloads automatically to your device once generation is complete.
NOTE: Sections for unconnected modules or hidden features are automatically filtered out. The report excludes the current day to ensure consistent data.
Troubleshooting
Problem generating report
Ensure your internet connection is stable and try the export again. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache or try opening an incognito or private window and downloading a PDF from there.
Missing sections
Verify that the modules for the missing sections are connected and active on your dashboard. Note that sections for unconnected modules are automatically filtered out. Additionally, data for the current day is excluded, so newly connected modules may not show data immediately.
Download does not start
If the automatic download does not begin, click the “Click here if the download didn’t start automatically” link in the progress bar. Also, ensure your browser does not have any active popup blockers that might be preventing the file download.
