We’ve heard from many site owners that logging in to the wp-admin dashboard frequently isn’t always a top priority, which means it’s easy to miss out on important updates about your site’s performance. As of Site Kit release 1.178.0, you can subscribe to receive a periodic email report and get the gist of how your site is doing quickly and conveniently, directly in your email inbox.
For the agencies and developers out there, we know you often spend time manually copying stats into reports for your clients. With this new feature, you can invite other registered site users (like your clients) to subscribe so they get the same helpful stats delivered automatically.
What’s included in your report?
Your new email reports follow the same principles as the Site Kit dashboard you already know and love – focus on the questions you care about most and give the answers in a clean, easy to understand format. Inside, you’ll find:
- A quick traffic summary: see who is visiting and what’s catching their eye.
- How people are finding you: you’ll see both what people searched to find you and where they came from.
- Your top content: check out your most popular pages, authors, and categories (if you have them on your site).
- What’s driving growth: we’ll help you understand which pages and search terms are bringing in the most visitors.
- Easy-to-read trends: we’ll show you if your numbers are up or down compared to the last period.

Getting started
Ready to try it out? It’s available from the Google account menu in the top right corner of your Site Kit dashboard.
This feature is entirely opt-in, so you’re always in control. You can also pick how often you’d like to hear from us, whether that’s weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Building on the power of dashboard sharing, you can also invite other site users to subscribe, as long as they have access to the dashboard.

We hope you find this new way to stay connected with your site’s performance helpful. As always, come find us on the support forum if you have any questions, and keep up to date on new features in development on Site Kit’s GitHub repository.
